1.The world is changing rapidly everyday. My hometown has seen the changes over the years. These changes help people develop themselves and make their lives colorful; however, people are facing some challenges. These challenges can be seen in education, the environment and entertainment.
Education plays an important role during one's life. Parents pay much attention to education, and almost everyone who graduates from a university is working to gather more knowledge. As the economy becomes more and more global, English becomes a necessary tool to do business around the world; therefore, many English training agencies are opening. Many people join them and not only improve their English ability, but also gain friendship and happiness. People's notion of education is also changing. "One is never too old to learn" motivates them to do better.
Everyone has the responsibility for protecting the environment. People in my hometown realize this and are fully committed to doing their part, such as planting trees, keeping the roads clean, and not using plastic bags. The environment is much better than before; however, the improvement of people's economic level makes them choose cars as their vehicles, which replace bicycles. Our "bicycle country" is gradually disappearing. Cars bring a great deal of noise and gases that do a tremendous amount of harm to the environment. The environment is facing a severe challenge.
Nowadays, people tend to combine entertainment with work and study. So, more and more entertainment places open, for instance, KTVs, bars, and bookstores. People's lives are not boring anymore because they can relax and rest in many different ways instead of just watching TV at home. Various activities make people's lives beautiful and they enjoy their lives very much.
Education, the environment and entertainment are three changes which illustrate that my hometown has undergone great changes. The improvement of education, the environment and entertainment help people live happy lives and find good jobs.
2.Great changes have taken place in Chinese family life in the past 60 years. There have been great differences between our grandparents’ life and ours, not only in terms of house, but also in terms of food and so on. When it came to my parents, the life was better than my grandparents’ life. They lived in the house covered with tiles, but without any modern equipment. Although the quality of clothes became a little better, they still lived a hard life and some families were forced by necessity. According to my parents’ word, they could not have new cloths in almost a year. Although they could eat wheat and rice, their food was still very limited, having meat was in their dreams. During their times, they also dreamed of TV set, telephone, building, computers and so on. Nowadays, each family has at least one TV set and many have been equipped with telephones, computers, and even cars. The senior members of a family watch films on TV at home and communicate with each other in internet. We lived in buildings equipped with modern device. Some students even have their own will with swimming pool, garage, garden and so on. My parent’s dream has come true and we live comfortably and happily without any anxiety about good and clothes. We can study in the comfortable house by computers, go shopping in the supermarket with my parents, and spend holidays anywhere we want to, due to the development of the society. All in all, great changes in Chinese family life have changed our lives. The changes also mirror the economic development of our country. Without the progress of the whole country, our family life would not have changed. As a person said, “Life belongs to the living, and he who lives must be prepared for changes.

Indeed,from the changes in clothing,we can see that the styles of the clothes vary from warm clothes in winter to cool clothes in summer which have become more fashionable.As the living standards have been improved,people pay more attention to health and what they eat.and nowadays eating is no longer simply stuffing ,it has become a kinda enjoyment.People can enjoy many kinds of delicacies,and the life.Living condition has also be enhanced ,many high buildings have been built.There are also people who move from downtown to the countryside because of the fresh air there.In speaking of transportation,there are more and more people owning private cars,and the traffic condition has become complicated and you can go anywhere .it's indeed more convenient.The time spent on traffic is getting shorter.As you can see in the changes listed above,we have more choices and our life standard is getting better.

Somebody moves to suburban area certainly also from downtown area, because of there air is fresher than downtown area On going out to travel, the private car is more and more many , traffic becomes complicated , accessible from all directions. Multicolored time is more and more short on route or distance of travel
