在英语写作中,直接引用别人说的原话,怎么用标点,我只记得于中文不同?
比如：
在剧中 A君break up a fight 并说到If ever you disturb the street again,your lives shall pay the forteit of the peace
那么在写作中,我们写的是
A broke up the fight and said.
其中引号是我要引用原文那句话的if ever ...of the peace
但是我忘记怎么用标点了,请补全下,就是标点
引号是双引还是单引号，有没有冒号。
由于引用的是原剧中的话，引号是必须有的。我原来写的是
A broke up the fight and said,‘If ever you disturb the street again,your lives shall pay the forteit of the peace.'
但是写完后，总感觉有点不对
