Bohemian Rhapsody这首6分多钟长的单曲包括四个部分,一开始是Freddie Mercury在钢琴伴奏下的痛苦倾诉,后来则是 Freddie Mercury 用歌剧咏叹调与背景歌剧合声的对唱,再来一段狂飙淋漓的重金属,最后又是 Freddie Mercury 在钢琴伴奏下的倾诉.这首歌成为英国有史以来销量最大的单曲,影响是如此之大,以至现在有乐队出版结构复杂的歌曲都被称为XX年代的 “Bohemian Rhapsody” .
关于背景,据说是这样的,Mercury从小就热爱歌剧,不过他出身贫寒,没能在歌剧上有更多的发展.所以他在组建乐队以后就把不少关于歌剧的东西搬到了自己的歌中.描写小人物的感情与生活,是Queen音乐最大的特点之一.
