Where can I find experienced mandarin tutor or Mandarin Shoo

I have a friend oringinally from Japan,she has that unstopable passion for Chinese studying,(btw she has already mastered 6 languages when I first knew her),so she's been listening to what and how we talk,kind of starting from there,and she wrote down the words she wanted to know with the explaination and a pronunciation with English spelling after that word.Plus,you don't have do the same tho,she's got a Chinese boyfriend now lol.That helps a lot.
Anyhow my point is,going to school or class doesn't have to be the best way to manage a language,if you really wanna learn it,learn it as the way a baby learns,little by little,that friend I was talking about now she can talk simple stuff in Chinese now,and it's only been 2.5 years...
