改:The girl who speaks English very well is/comes from New York.
be from=come from,但是不能说be come from
3、杰克昨天看的那部电影很有趣.
The movie that Jack yesterday watched was very funny.
改:The movie that Jack yesterday watched was very interesting.
funny改成interesting更准确,前者的意思更多是"好笑的,滑稽的" .
4、你认识正在看报的那个男孩吗?
Do you know that man who is reading newspapers.
改：Do you know that boy who is reading newspapers?
是“男孩”不是“男人”,句尾标点是问号.
5、那是我们感兴趣的话题.
The topic that are our interested.
改：That's the topic (which) we are interested in.
这句话问题最大,要记住：定语从句和主句都要写完整.
6、大家都会去帮助那个车坏了的人.
Everybody will help the man who the car doesn't work.
改：Everybody will help the man whose car doesn't work.
whose=the man's,即关系代词相当于先行词的所有格.这时定语从句才完整正确：
The man's car doesn't work.
7、你喜欢哪一类型的音乐?我喜欢我可以跟着唱的音乐.
What kinds of music do you like?
I like music that I can sing along with.
改：What kind of music do you like?
I like music that I can sing along with.
这句话翻译很准确,唯一的缺憾是“哪一类型”,而不是“哪些类型”,所以kind用单数而不用复数.
