1st to get some Chinese friends.Lots of Chinese people can speak some English ,especialy at University.So you can try to go to University to get some friends.
2nd find a teacher who teach English.I think it's also useful.
3rd Download some IM software such as QQ or Msn.To comunicate people.
4th Use Chinese to comunicate with people as much as possible.
