在文学上,不少英国名著里都出现了祈祷的情节,比如jane eyre,Gospel of matthew,crime and punishment.其实在宗教改革之前,英国文学也只有宗教这一个题材.
在体育运动中,因为城诚实是宗教的宗旨所以公平竞争比胜利更加重要,相反的欺骗作弊是不可原谅的.
通过宗教吸收了欧陆的文化,加强了英国本地跟殖民地之间的联系.
总体来说,宗教对于英国的艺术,文学,教育,建筑,戏剧,服装,节日等等都给予了很大影响,当然这些影响也都有好有坏.

The good example of it is that in the past,the priest would accompany the British Army in their journey because thesoldiers would have more faith.This also can give morale and spiritual comfortto the soldiers.
In the literature filed,many British masterpieceshave prayer appeared in their episodes; such as Jane eyre,Gospel of Matthew,Crimeand Punishment.In fact,before the reformation in religion,English literatureonly had religion as its theme.
In sports,the purpose is almost the sameas religion as honestly is more important than the victory of a competition; onthe contrary,cheating is inexcusable.
Through the absorption of European culture,religion strengthens and ties with the British itself and its colonies.
Overall,religion has a great impact onEnglish art,literature,education,architecture,drama,fashion,festivals,andso forth.Of course,these effects and influences have their goods and bads.
