1) more 有三种词性,在脱离句子的情况下,不易判定其词性所属,如：
* 形容词：

* 表示“不仅仅/不只是”
--He is more than a scholar.他不只是个学者.(more 作表语,指代与 scholar 同类的名词,因此是不定代词)
2.下面两句话的语法结构不同——
1）I have three more books than you (do).
three more books 是 have 的宾语,than you do 是have的比较状语,意思是“我比你多三本书”.
同理——
She has four fewer books than I do 的结构也相同..——我比你少三本书
2）I have three books more than you do.,
three books是 have 的宾语,more than you do 是形容词短语作后置定语,意思是“我有比你多出来的三本书”.
同理——
She has four books fewer than I do 也是如此.——他有比我少出来的四本书.
