西方一般讲work on the project.你可以说The task of the project is.,但人们一般不讲work on the WASK OF the project.
work后介词的用法通常是：work with sb (on a project)；work on a project； work at sth；work for sb.等等.
work with the task of the project中with的用法肯定是不妥的.
