the next year使用在相应的过去时态,而get ready 表示的应该是一种完成的状态,所以考虑用过去完成时

再答： the next year 说明是特定的下一年，就相当于汉语中说“那年的第二年”，比如现在是2011年，在讲发生在2000年的事时，把2000叫做the year ,说2001年时就叫the next year,而不能说是next year,因为next year 指的是明年，即2012年，而不是2001年。这就是the next year 与next year 的不同之处，也是不能用将来时的原因。 还有，get是谓语动词，不能够与be连用（如果你学过非谓语动词，这点你应该知道吧），如果你想说的是用be getting ready 来表示将来，那正如我前面说的，the next year 使用在过去时态中。
