With the socio-economic development and the improvement of living standards,there is a relative decline in the demand for material products.By contrast,the demand for services is rising.The sustained,rapid and healthy development of the services sector become an important indicator on archievement of mutual goal to build an affluent society and the smooth realization of modernization.
Although China has maintained a high-speed in service industry development,comparing with other countries,the service industry is still relatively backward.
The accession to the World Trade Organization will enable the enhancement of the service industry openness.This will provide new opportunities to accelerate the development of the service industry,and it also will face more challenges.
In such a situation,the Chinese government should change the attitude of strict control on this industry.The government should adopt strategies such as to broaden of market access,open wider to the outside world and to strengthen the personnel training,which could help to increase the competitiveness of industry and achieve the ultimate goal of economic restructuring industries.
