莎翁的原意应该是it's a question!（不是the）
另外,to be or not to be很多前人都给了很多不错的翻译：
活着还是死去
存在还是消亡
个人认为此处的to be or not to be也深具老子“道可道,非常道”的精髓,是需要体会,而难以准确解释的.不管是活着还是死去或者存在还是消亡,虽然不错,却都不能完全表现出to be or not to be的内涵.
如果一定要翻译,个人偏向于
存在还是消亡,这是个问题.
