Classic VS Fashion
We are living in a peculiar world that everyone is chasing after fashion. However, fashion can never stay forever because it ceases as time flows on. Many fashions could stay for a long period of time and forever such as wearing clothes for public events, some famous perfumes, such as Dior, but many fades away fast. For instance, once upon in Chinese history, people were keen in eating sour eggs to prevent cancer, but now, few people continue doing it.
Classic was invented for memory, people may not consdier it or make it useful all the time, however, whenever it is needed, it appeals to all hearts, that makes reflection from all corners. Of course, classic requires high vision and high standard acceptors. For example, some domestic sitcoms could be widely accepted by common people but operas. If you visit a countryside near China's northeast and offer the audience with ballet The Swan Lake, many people will refuse to come and enjoy. If Zhao Benshan's sitcom is offered, they will jump to the air and watch with mouth wide open for days.
Fashion refers to something created for that particular time and for some niche clients only, when the interest of these clients is gone, such a fashion will be taken away out of the history. When a fashion is invented or created right from someone, it always builds a blind heat that lures people tp follow groundly. Many merchants make lots of fortune from fashion just because people are not really told the function. For instance, nowadays, there are so many young ladis and middle-aged, even old ladies hectically wear shorts in the streets, they do not even consider about their figures and legs, totally forgetting their ages, their social status, competing with their duaghters and young mates. I myself don't go for it, and it makes the world messed up.
I am not an old fashion person, I like both classic and fashion, only I feel I prefer the right time for right choice serving for right purpose. When I am with my young friends, I would like to be a person in fashion, in particular, my talk, that will make me closer to them. When I am reading a novel, I like to have some classic on for my background. When I am with my friend in disco club, I am crazy for those fashionable music, for they drive away all my tiring thoughts... There are many to say about classic and fashion, they are not enemies to each other, maybe one day a fashion will be turned into classic or the other way round.
To close my speech, I would like to say a certain fashion may be made for certain group of population, a classic may stay as time rolls on for everyone. Please don't slit fashion and classic just from a personal understanding or personal opinion, they coexist to make us a better world.
