About American Pie,that isn't really the kind of high school life I had,and I don't think there were too many people at my high school who behaved like the characters in that movie either.American Pie definitely shows an extreme side of high school life,and it probably is accurate for some high schools in the United States,but I have never seen anything like the events that happen in that movie in my high school.American Pie is supposed to be a teen comedy,that's all.
I recently saw a movie titled The Shawshank Redemption that I thought was really good.If you can look past all the bad language and violence that earned it the "R" rating,the film has a really inspiring message at its center.
There are people who party at UC Berkeley,but for me,college life only means almost nonstop studying.It's okay,though,because I enjoy what I study,and I'm involved in a few student organizations so that I don't have to look at books all the time.
My family and I probably won't come back to China until a later time.Life's pretty busy for us right now.Anyway,it was nice to hear from you again.
