1.一是看引导词.比如说：when,while,as,since,as soon as,the moment,before,after,not...until/till,until/ till
这些词都是引导的是时间状语从句.
2.有的时候when引导的可能是定语从句.如果前面有先行词,就是定语从句.
3.有的时候when 引导的句子可能是名词性从句,看它在句子中作的成分.如果做的是主语,就是主语从句,如果是表语,就是表语从句,如果是宾语,就是宾语从句.
例如：
When I came in,he was reading a book.(状语从句）
I 'll never forget the days when we worked together.(定语从句）
When he will come back is not known.(主语从句）
The problem is when he will come back.(表语从句）
Please tell me when he will come back.( 宾语从句）
