Is it a trap to take higher enducation in China?

Is it a trap to take higher enducation in China?
I am confused about the education system in China.
The government try to make all the young people study in schools for longer time,while raise the expense on education.
For now,the government try to enlarge the amount of students entering the universities,but some of the surplus graduates can not find jobs,so most of them go on studying as postgraduates.
Meanwhile,the government raise the expense standard of college education.Does the government try to gain more money from the students?
I have heard that even postgraduates can not find good jobs now.
Well,is it really a trap for all the students in China?Is it really necessary for the students to take such "high" education in China?
