原句貌似是下面的,你少了个are,应该用audible.
The acoustics of the ancient Greek theater at Epidaurus are so good that an actor's words, even when whispered, are to those sitting in the last row.
auditory是 听觉的 的意思
audible是 可以听见的 的意思
前面有个even when whispered 做让步状语,意思是“尽管小声地说”
所以结合语义,应该是“还能听见”.跟“听觉的”,没什么关系吧.
再写个auditory的用法
Finally he overcame the auditory difficulties by three years' efforts.
通过三年的努力, 他最终克服了听觉中的困难.
