大家不要把简单弄复杂了,如果是is的的话,那么我们是该说：
Potatoes is food? 显然不对拉,应该是Potatoes are food. 那么为什么这里不能用are呢?
另外, My favourite food is potatoes 这句话正表明了谓语由主语决定的.这里不是作为整体而使用的,没有那种意思.简单而直接地用are就对了.
