首先要知道这是两个句式.
1.there is + 抽象名词 + to do sth.有...做某事.
There is no need to tell him he truth.
2 A.it's+抽象名词/形容词 +(for sb.) to do sth.做某事是...
如:It is useless to stop him.
It is a duty for him to help others.
B.it's + 名词+ doing sth.做某事是...
如; It is no use/good telling him the news.
