在更多的情况下,orientation指的是：
1） the particular interests,aims,and emphasis of a business,political group,or other organization
如：Market orientation emphasizes the needs of the customer.
2）someone’s basic attitudes or beliefs
如：worries about the political orientation of the commission
3） information or training that you are given before you start a new job or activity
如：a work orientation course for recent graduates
而direction就是指比较特定的平时我们说的方向,当然除此,还有一些用法
