我来补答
1.Chinese citizens are thought to be rich,cunning,cheaters,hardworking,loyal to their homeland (China);
2.Malay people are thought to be lazy,poor,honest,religious,weak and need the government to protect them;
3.Indian people are considered low-class,members of gangsters,dirty;
4.Women are considered having lesser roles in politics; more important roles as wives and mothers;
5.Government is thought to be less comptetent;
6.Malaysia is a democratic country.The government is elected by the voters.So it can be said to be a collective government.集体主义国家.(Unlike Brunei--which is run by her powerful Sultan [King]).
再问: 你好像挺懂马来西亚的,我问多两个问题,不介意吧。 What prejudices may exist between Malaysia culture and Chinese culture? What does Malayisa culture value most(cultural value orientation) and why?

再答: 1. prejudices: (a) Chinese who speak Chinese, pray to Buddha & Guangyin & other gods are said to be "unpatriotic". (不爱国). The Malays want Chinese to speak good Malay language (national language), and preferably convert to Islam, so that these Chinese can be accepted as loyal citizens... (b) Chinese who pork have problem with the Malay Muslim population. Meat cannot be sold openly in the cities/market places. Can be sold at special store, fully covered where the Muslim will not enter/visit. To have prok, Chinese farmers need to rear pigs. So pig farms are always criticized by the Malay Muslims, for causing water pollution especially....This angers the Malay Muslims. [Note: In Brunei, the King does not allow pig farms there. The Chinese Chinese are however allowed to import pork from Malaysia, Thailand, Australia.] (c) Signboards must be written in Malay language. Chinese words may be added below or beside, in smaller fonts. But the Malaysian government is considered "liberal" in allowing Chinese to use Chinese words for their signboards etc. (d) Inter-racial marriages are rare, because non-Muslim Chinese are not allowed to marry Muslims without first embracing Islam. Conflict arises, where some non-Muslims marry Muslims by asking the Muslims to convert to Christianity instead! Case: Lina Joy. Malay girl wanted to marry one Christian Indian ( a handsome man) and she want to get out from Islam to become a Christian....This is never allowed by the Muslims & government! (e) Conclusion: Lion dances, wushu martial arts etc have attracted Malay participation nowadays. The prejudices on these cultural activities have greatly reduced. 2. "cultural value orientation" : Education, loyalty, integrity, cultural excellence, humbleness, meritocracy, racial harmony, tolerance & acceptance. Reason: Fifty four years after her independence (1957), it is found that the people of all races are still "disintegrated" --racial polarisation is a serious.[see your Baidu mailbox]
