The monkey-eating eagle hunts most of the day.It hunts with extreme speed and is capable of great flexibility in its movements.The male eagle attracts the attention of the female with a great display of its ability in flight It sometimes demonstrates its ability in the air by making a series of loops,diving,turning and climbing back like an arrow,with powerful strokes.At the top of each loop,the eagle sperads its wings and dives.
The female eagle lays only one egg a year.It makes its nest about 30 metres above the ground.The monkey-eating eagle has a lifespan of about 40 years.The female begins to eggs in her fifth year.it has a reproductive span of about 15 years.
