The book was a story about a girl called Sara Crewe.Sara Crewe was an India.She was only seven years old and she had long black hair and green eyes.Her father was a rich man called Ralph Crewe.On a cold winter day,her father Mr.Crewe and Sara Crewe left India arrived in London.Then Mr.Crewe brought Sara to Miss Minchin’s school,and then he went back to India and work.
Sara lived happily with her friends at Miss Minchin’s school.Three years later.One day,Sara had an exciting letter from Mr.Crewe.Mr.Crewe told Sara his friend had some mines in northern India,and a month ago his workers found diamonds there,and he put all his money into his friend’s diamond mines for get diamonds out.But some months later ,on Sara’s eleventh birthday,Miss Minchin’s lawyer told her ,there are no diamond mines ,Mr.Crewe’s good friend ran away with all Mr.Crewe ‘s money .Ralph Crewe was ill with a fever ,and when he heard about this ,he got worse .A week later he was dead.When Miss Minchin knows these things,she was thunder stricken.And then she told Sara all the things about Mr.Crewe,and make Sara to be a servant.Sara’s new life was very hard.But Sara always told herself ‘I must brave.’ But two years later,the magic happened.Mr.Crewe’s friend ,Mr.Carmichael find Sara .And tell Sara the true story about her father’s friend and the diamond mines ,and the two years of looking for Ralph Crewe’s daughter .Formerly,at first they didn’t find any diamonds,and all Ralph’s money was gone.Mr Carmichael was afraid to tell him,so he ran away.And later,when they did find diamonds,Ralph was dead.And now,Sara was rich again,she was a princess,a real princess.
After read the book,I know several lessons .The first one is if the life is hard,we can not afraid,we must envisage to it bravely.Because if you afraid and think the life will be more and harder,you will can’t to work hard and change the real-life .The second one is money isn’t the most important thing,although you are poor,but your life can be very happy as well.I should learn from Sara.When she know her dead was dead,she have to be a servant,she told to herself ‘I must brave.’ at all times.And she tries to make her life more interesting.And the third one is ‘Prosperity makes friends,adversity tries them.Some of Sara’s friends left Sara by reason of Sara was poor,she was a servant.But at the same time,Sara found several genuine friends.The last one is Follow your own course,and let people talk.
