Science,as the basis for the development of contemporary society,is actually a double-edged sword which can be either beneficial or detrimental to human society.It is obvious that we can not live so happily and conveniently without scientific contributions.Science has pervaded every aspect of our lives and better our working and living conditions as well as our mental health.However,any scientific research must not violate the fundamental ethical and moral laws of society.Though scientists hold goals to make differences and breakthroughs to contribute to human beings,occupations such as human cloning engineering,computer viruses production,nuclear weapons,etc.in spite of personal interests,should be taken into prohibition.Simply put,if it was not the case,our society would have to encounter numerous unexpected problems like moral complications,threats of nuclear explosion and other novel patterns of crime.As a result,peace and harmony will evaporate into the air,leaving a world with jeopardy and horror,even leading to human extinction.Hence for this reason,it is crucial to well orient the direction of scientific research.
