This term,I'm honored to be the monitor of my new class.Things are all new to me.But no body talks with me here,because there is hardly no one I have to be familiar with.
But this is just a beginning.I believe we will get together well with each other soon.And I will be a good monitor for our class.I believe the class will be a good one.
For myself,besides to be a good monitor,I will also study hard and observe the disciplines to be a good student.

The end of a dream
A young man in Teheran bought a real bed for the first time in his life.He slept on the
roof of his house because the weather was hot.Three nights later,the bed was swept
off the roof during a storm.The man was not only unhurt but still on his mattress.

Hot snake
Now that firemen have put out a big forest fire in California,they have been
trying to discover its cause.There was no evidence that it was started by
broken glass or a cigarette end.However a fireman has just solved the mystery.
He noticed the remains of a snake which had been dropped by a bird on to some
electric wires.In winding itself round the wires,the snake had sent sparks to
the ground and this caused the fire.
