keeping a safe speed cars is an important means of Reducing traffic accident.This article studies attaining the imformation of car location and Real-time speed based on GPS or GIS ,calculating the speed limit of the road which the car is on by matching car location and and electronic map based on Supermap and modifying the speed limit considering the weather based on Rain sensors.Then the article describes judging whetherthe cars is at a good driving state and devising how to warn the driver and restrict the throttle when the car is overspeed by comparing the imformation of the speed limit and the Real-time speed .practice of the system mentioned above has been done which proves it works well to avoid overspeed driving and reduce traffic accident.
