I came across a report in the newspaper the other day ,
which said that more than three fifths of the Chinese school children make progress in(是用in么?) their grades by having remediation.
定语从句中,
make progress in表示在…上面取得进步(或进展),这是没错的.
不过,后面,by having remediation,不太好,不如用：extra tuition （额外指导,就是指补习.）
remediation的补习,主要指对于所犯的错的一种“矫正；补救”,跟我们的‘补习’,含义不一样.
