[Abstract]The core competence of the corporation is not only the most powerful and important thrust of the growth of the small and medium-sized enterprises,but also is the source of the enhancement on the competitive advantages of the small and medium-sized enterprises .It is commonly believed that how to enhance the core competence by benefiting from characteristics and individualities of the small and medium-sized enterprises should be taken into consideration in the first place by the small and medium-sized enterprises .Based on the definition of the core competence of the small and medium-sized enterprises,the analysis of operation situation of the small and medium-sized enterprises in our country,this piece of paper aims at showing the problem of congenital deficiency of core competence,the study on the unflawless management,opportunities,advantages and disadvantages of the small and medium-sized enterprises in order to point out the expectation and tendency of our national small and medium-sized enterprises on one hand,and show how to enhance the core competence on the other hand.With the reality of the fierce market competition and the situation of decreasing life cycle,how to make a thorough inquiry on the improvement of the whole enterprise quality and the enhancement of the capacity on sustainable development has already been the most outstanding issue for the small and medium-sized enterprises in this day and age.
