The Spring Festival,Chinese New Year,is the most importantfestival for all of us.To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmasto people in the West.All family members get together onNew Year's Eve tohave a big meal.
Before the end of the Chinese New Year,many senior citizens stickthe reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door.Some house's windowsare stuck on red paper cuttings.
At the same time,everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 o'clock,some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly.Wemay watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy and happy it is!
The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relativesand friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”.At that time,children arethe happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents,grandparents,uncles,aunts and so on.
The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival.It namesthe Lantern Festival.So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.People enjoythe Spring Festival,during this time they can have a good rest.(199 words)
