Thanksgiving Day
In America,Thanksgiving Day is a happy occasion when members of family like to get together and share a big meal.The theme is thankfulness for peace and plenty,and the happiness of family life during the last year.
The traditional Thanksgiving Day is filled with an abundance(丰富) of food,including roast turkey with cranberry sauce（酸果蔓果酱）and pumpkin pie.Some families prepare for the celebration days in advance,and others attend Thanksgiving services at church,and often sporting events are arranged.
Many people simply enjoy the occasion without thinking much about what it means or how it came into being,and they use it for a long holiday weekend,or begin their Christmas shopping.
Football games are either attended,or watched on television,and have become a major part of Thanksgiving .It is a time to offer thanks,of family gatherings and holiday meals.
With the daily frequency communication and the development of the technology around the world,in the international communication,what we are facing is the strange culture and mode of thinking(思维方式),living habits and manners with quietly different people,we may come across the cultural confliction,but it cannot be avoided.
