What is your opionion of making friends on the internet?

It sparks a hot debate among us that if making friends online is good to us .For someone,making friends online poses a grave threat to us,because they may leak out your personal imformation you tell them.
As far as I am concerned,I firmly believe that making friends online does us a world of goods.My arguments for this point are listed as follows.Firstly,we can easily make friends online,especially the shy boys and girls who dare not to take initials to talk with others.It prompts them to become a activie ,sonsy boy or girl.Secondly,it can broaden our eyes.Meanwhile,it can rich our knowledge.By communicating with them,we can learn more things which we do not know from them.
Though its advantages really overweight its disadvantages,we must pay much attention to online security.If you do not care about it,it may pose a great losts to you.
