Dear fellow students, 

     I'm here to call on everyone to pay attention to the phenomenon of food waste. As we know, food is of great importance, without which people can't survive. Thus, it is high time that we should  make considerable efforts to eliminate food waste.

To begin with, we are supposed to raise the awareness of saving food. We must bear it in mind that food is a precious resource and wasting food goes against the basic moral principles. Additionally,a good spending habit also contributes to food protection. Therefore, please remember to order appropriately, and try to eat up. Apart from these, we can volunteer to persuade people around us not to waste food.

Even small acts can make a big difference. So, let's take the responsibility to save food together.

我在这里呼吁大家关注食物浪费的现象。我们知道，食物是非常重要的，没有它人们无法生存。因此，是时候我们应该作出相当大的努力来消除食物浪费。

首先，我们应该提高节约食物的意识。我们必须记住食物是一种宝贵的资源，浪费食物是违反基本道德原则的。此外，良好的消费习惯也有助于食品保护。因此，请记得适当点餐，尽量吃饱。除此之外，我们可以志愿劝说周围的人不要浪费食物。

即使是很小的行动也能产生很大的影响。所以，让我们一起承担起节约粮食的责任。
