某事；某物：

ANYTHING:
1.用于否定句及疑问句：
Is there anything in that box?那个盒子里有东西吗?
Has anything unusual happend?没有什么不正常的事发生.
They haven`t anything to eat.他们没有东西可吃.
2.无论什么：
I want something to eat,anything will do.我想要些东西吃,无论什么都可以.
NOTHING：
（后接形容词、不定式等）没什么；没什么东西；无物：
There`s nothing interesting in the newspaper.报纸上没有什么有趣的新闻.
He`s had nothing to eat.他还没有定下吃.
Nothing ever pleased her.没有任何东西能取悦她.
There`s little or nothing wrong with him.他没有什么不正常.
特别注意：修饰上述四词的形容词不能放置其前,必须后置.
