The bars where friendly and the beer cold.The shop in the hotel had most things required.I think I am like most budget travelers and like to but their beers from a 7/11 rather than the mini bar so if the shop could sell the same cans as the bar it would enable a simple restock of the bar.I rebooked twice to lengthen my stay and the staff were very helpful in explaining how to get the best rate.Also at the reception I changed my currency for Sing Dollars.The room was cleaned and maintained well.I used the wireless internet service which had a fee.And also used the coin operated internet and printer located beside the reception to print bookings and tickets.The hotel had a lot to do within and singapore has a lot to do outside so I ran out of time to experience all the hotel had to offer.There was a coin operated laundry which proved a cost saving if you did not need the laundry service to clean your touring clothes.On departure day the hotel looked after my bags till my flight departure time.This was a great help.Although the building is a little dated it has a lot of charm and the price was relative.It was a nice hassle free sty.Thanks.One thing that I noticed in most hotels is the coffee whitening rather than milk.Not a problem really
