Dear kim, How are you? I enjoyed reading your last letter. Your little sister sounds very funny, just like sister. But sometimes my sister bothers me a lot. Yesterday my sister wanted to look at the book I was reading. She snatched it out of my hands. Several of the pages were torn, and I was angry with her. My mom explained that she was too little to understand what she was doing, but I was still angry that I took the book outside and threw it in the garbage can. I don’t want to keep a damaged book on my shelf! My uncle and aunt came to dinner last night. I helped my mom make a special prawn curry for dinner. She says that is my aunt’s favourite dish. It was fun helping to cook.. I’ll send you the recipe and maybe you can help your mom make it,too. I’m always happy when my uncle and aunt come for dinner, because they often bring me and my sister presents. Last time they brought me a toy car. This time they brought me a book. I was lucky. Now I can read the rest of the book. I’ll make sure that my sister can’t see me reading it, so that she can’t tear it again. Everyboby said they liked the prawn curry very much.. I was proud, because I helped my mom make it. After dinner I was tried and went to bed. So did my sister. We could hear the adults talking for a long time before my uncle and aunt went home.
