An essay about Walt Whitman
"song of myself" has defied attempts to provide a definitive interpretation. Whitman said the United States themselves are essentially the greatest poem. His assertion suggest that a way to interpret the poem is as a celebration of America.
first of all, identigy what there is about America that can be celebrated.(ex:freedom, rights.)
once you have identified these areas, show where Whitman celebrates America in "song of myself". as you identify each area, explain how Whitman celebtates the area.
whileWhitman said he wanted this poem to be anti literary, he uses many conventional techniques in his poem. why?
i need the essay to be about 1000words.
