假如给我三天光明：
This winter vacation I read a book named 《If I have three days of sight》 written by Helen Keller,and I was moved.What would you look at if you had just three days of sight?Helen Keller,blind and deaf from infancy,gives her answer in this remarkable essay.
In this book Helen tells us her story from three to her graduation from Harvard University and the work for disabled people.She uses her brave way to make the world shocked,she is a person who lives in darkness but brings people a bright future.
I have often thought it would be a blessing if each human were not stricken blind and deaf for a few days at some time during his early life.Darkness would make him more appreciative of sight; silence would teach him the joys of sound.
Now and then I have tested my seeing friends to discover what they see.Recently I asked a friend who had just returned from a long travelling what he had observed.“Nothing in particular.” he replied.
How was it possible,I asked myself.I can find at least 300 kinds of tings only by touch!I feel the delicate symmetry of a leaf.I can feel the grass’ lives.I feel the pleasure of the bird.I touch the tree smoothly and I know the meaning of being alive.In spring I touch the branches of trees hopefully in search of a bud,the first sign of awakening Nature after the winter's sleep.
If I can get so much pleasure from mine touching,how much more beauty must be found by sight!How much more beauty must be found by Helen Keller!
However,she is blind.What a pity!Can you imagine?There is no sight and no sound in your life.
We should enjoy our life.
