1.Suppose two wrestlers can each either fake right,fake left,or run straight at each other.The ossible outcomes are listed in the following table:

Suppose that each wrestler uses an iterative process to eliminate dominated strategies.Can you predict the strategies of each wrestler?Now suppose that wrestler 2 missed the class on prf.Yim’s game theory,and just decides to fake right,while wrestler 1 continues to believe that each player will use the iterative process to eliminate dominated strategies.Would wrestler 1 regret using his sophisticated strategic thinking?Can you recommend a strategy to wrestler 1 for when wrestler 1 is facing a non-sophisticated opponent (one that doesn’t optimize and may therefore be completely unpredictable)?

本人的博弈论学的只是些皮毛,姑且说出来大家听听,不足之处,多多指正.
题干中总共是三个问题,回答如下:
1、Wrestler 2的劣势策略是“Run Straight”,因此应当被剔除的.在Wrestler 2选在“Fake Left”或者“Fake Right”时,Wrestler 1没有严格优势策略,也没有严格劣势策略,Wrestler 1会选择“RS”或“FR”.
2、Wrestler 1不会后悔使用了策略思维,因为无论Wrestler 2是否剔除“RS”,Wrestler 1的选择依然是“RS”或“FR”.
3、如果Wrestler 2的选择是随机的,那么我们可以假定他选择任何一个策略的概率都是1/3,那么Wrestler 1选择
“RS”的平均收益就:P(RS)=1/3(4+3+10)=17/3;
“FL”的平均收益就:P(FL)=1/3(2+0+3)=5/3;
“FR”的平均收益就:P(FR)=1/3(6+4+1)=11/3;
所以Wrestler 1得最优选择就是“RS”.
